If you enjoy performing, singing and dancing then this is the class for you.  Learning performing arts skills has many benefits including building confidence, encouraging creativity as well as increasing social skills.  Classes beginning in May, check the calendar for the date(s).
Instructor Missie Van Bebber is the founder and artistic Director of Ivy Players.  Missie has directed with Ivy Players, Arts Off Broadway and Shakespeare In The Vines.  Her theatre experiences also include stage managing, coaching, costuming, prop management and marketing.  She has been an Inland Theatre League (ITL) Judge since 2013.  Missie has a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Redlands, with an English / Drama credential and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the California State University of Fullerton.

Over the years, Grace’s connection with a wide variety of art education and organizations has led to her involvement in art instruction and teaching.
She was a key contributor to the creation of the artist village in Santa Ana in 1985. As one of the co-founders of Studio 395 Foundation in Lake Elsinore she brings an infectious energy transmitting inspiration to the students she teaches, whether they are 4 or 40.

Maker’s Basics Sessions – Dates and times to be determined

Jason crafts and designs furniture and lighting fixtures for industrial and home use. He will teach small groups in his shop at the Village. We are currently signing up an interest list classes in various vocational arts: electrical, painting, welding and tool instruction. Once a group has registered, Jason will schedule the date and time (weekday evenings).

Senior Fitness / Strength and Balance
– Classes held Thursdays 4:00-4:45pm, Saturdays 11:30am-12:15p.m.

For SilverSneakers and Silver & Fit members, there is no class fee, just a $20/month facility fee, based on twice weekly participation.  For non-members, there is a $40/month facility fee, based on twice weekly attendance.  For drop-in participants, there is a $5 facility and a $1 class fee.  Participants are requested to bring a set of light weights (2 lbs for women, 3 lbs for men), a stretch band, and a bottle of water.  The classes at Village on Grand will include both strength training and balance components.


Janice Lee, CFT, SFN, SSF, Certified Geri-Fit® instructor, is the owner/licensee of Geri-Fit® of Wildomar.  Janice is a Certified Fitness Trainer, holds Specialist certificates in Fitness Nutrition and Senior Fitness, and is pursuing her AS degree in Exercise Science.  Her background includes 14 years as an educator, and 15 years in civilian law enforcement.  Her passion is getting and keeping older adults healthy and independent.

Yoga – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm and 5:30-6:30pm

Yoga is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.  Cindy's bio coming soon

Zumba – Monday through Thursday from 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Zumba is an aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of high-energy dance music.  Cece is a certified Zumba instructor whose liveliness and vigor drives the course. The music is a throbbing blend of salsa and bachata with a little Arabian nights thrown in for good measure. She has designed the class to bring a little cardio exercise to dance while supporting a healthy lifestyle. Class for ages 16 and over.

Taekwondo – Monday and Thursday 5:15 to 7:15pm.

Taekwondo - a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques.

Julie is our black belt Taekwondo instructor who brings energy and a strong sense of teamwork to her class. She has a profound depth of knowledge about the skill and is an excellent instructor.

Instruction in self-defense, discipline and respect as well as physical fitness is the focus of this class. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Tai Chi – Monday - Wednesday 5 to 6pm and Saturday 10am

Tai chi chuan - is a slow motion, moving meditative exercise for relaxation, health and self-defense, an ancient form of martial arts that can help to increase circulation and cardiovascular conditioning and is renowned for improving mental, physical and spiritual health.

Reuben Quesada is a life-long student and dedicated instructor of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan.  Mr. Quesada has studied under third generation Master Tung Kai Ying of the Kai Ying Tung Academy of Tai Chi Chuan in Los Angeles and has continued his studies with Tom Walters, an instructor and senior student of Master Tung who has been given formal permission to teach Tai Chi Chuan in Orange County.  In 2005 Mr. Quesada was given a Letter of Recommendation by Master Tung to instruct Yang style Tai Chi Chuan in Riverside County.

Mr. Quesada, a member of the American Tai Chi and Qigong Association, is proficient at and is prepared to instruct many of the Yang style Tai Chi Chuan forms.  Mr. Quesada’s repertoire of curriculum consists of Qigong, 24 Form (YMAA), Slow Set, Push Hands, Fast Set, Tung’s Family Set, Knife, Double Sticks, Sword, Lance and San Shou.  Mr. Quesada is dedicated to making people aware of the mindful and healthy benefits and aspects of Tai Chi Chuan.  Among his other pursuits, Mr. Quesada is also a dedicated educator and certificated teacher with teaching credentials in Multiple Subjects and Single Subject-History and Social Science.  Mr. Quesada also has a Masters Degree in Political Science and a Bachelors Degree in Legal Studies.

Balance Martial Art Tai Chi – Monday – 3 to 4pm - mixed ages, Friday – 11am – 12pm - mixed ages - $30 per month or $10 drop-in per class

Balance Martial Art - Everyone can be benefit from Tai Chi practice and achieve self harmony from inside out.  Improve your martial skills, restore your health, prolong your life.  For children, we give more emphasis on physical fitness and character development.  For adults,we adhere to our goals of delivering the immense benefits of martial arts including better cardiovascular health, improved muscle tone, increased energy, greater flexibility and more.

Peter Wu is a certified Tai Chi instructor, disciple of Grandmaster Chen XiaoXing, the 19th generation direct lineage holder of Chen style Taijiquan.  Peter studied Chen style Taijichuan with grandmaster Chen XiaoXing, and his brother, Chen XiaoWang.  Peter also trained traditional Kung Fu with Shaolin monks including hand forms, weapons, and Qi-gong.  In 2016, Peter participated in the nationwide tournament ICMAC (International Chinese Martial Art Championship) and was the Gold medalist in Tai Chi hand form and push hand.

Ceramics with Judy - Tuesdays & Saturdays 11:00am - 1pm

Ceramics is a comprehensive introduction to the craft of clay working. Judy has a love of clay and teaching.  She has studied, taught and manufactured ceramics most of her life.  She has been a resident of Wildomar for 30 years and loves the Inland Valleys.  Much of her work reflects the rustic beauty of the Elsinore region.

Ballet Folklórico - Tuesdays 5-6pm.

Ballet Folklórico is literally a story through dance; it teaches teamwork, poise, and confidence. Learn all the beautiful steps and traditions of this Mexican folk dancing style.  Known as Ms. Lorena around the Inland Empire she has embraced the tradition of the traditional Ballet Folklórico.  She has been teaching for 20 years in the local area from Temecula, Menifee.

Robin received her BA in Elementary Education from University of Denver.  She also received her RN licensure, Critical Care Certification and Oncology certification and worked as a nurse at the VA and Navy for 30 years.  Upon retirement and relocation to Lake Elsinore, she began contributing to Studio 395 and their various projects.
